The theme of January’s competition was ‘Winter in the Park’. Thanks for a fabulous selection of photos to all who entered.
The winning entry, selected by our judge, Penny Dixie ARPS, was ‘Tree Enlightened’ by Jennette Russell. Penny said: “My first choice is this study of a winter tree in Richmond Park. There are three elements that combine to make this a special image for me. Firstly the beautiful golden light in the sky which is also bathing the parkland in the background. Secondly, the thick frost covering the low growing vegetation. We don’t often see thick frost in London so it’s a special capture and finally, the leaf-less tree in all its majesty and winter splendour.”
