Rowing Teams Training (c)
This week’s picture of the week is ‘Rowing Teams Training’ by
selected by David Myford.
David says “The annual university boat race has made rowing eights and the Thames synonymous. This moment in a training session is less frenetic than an actual race, but there is still a sense of rivalry between the occupants of the foreground boats. Combined with the almost painterly backdrop, it’s a good example of recreation in London’s open spaces.” Congratulations Steve!
This is our thirty-fourth photo of the week. “Play tag”. The person whose photo is chosen each week should then select next week’s image. Send your choice to greenlondon@rps.org with some brief notes as to why you chose it and we’ll then post here. The only rule is that you can’t ‘tag back’ – i.e. you can’t pick a photo by the person who picked yours. Hope we can keep the fun going.
So it’s over to you, Steve. Please pick an image between 26th March and 1st April for posting on Sunday, the 2nd April.
