Summary

The London Naturally Group presents a day out walking along Regent’s Canal to Victoria Park in the morning and then continuing to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the afternoon. We meet at Angel tube station (Northern Line) for the morning walk to Victoria Park or you can join us at Victoria Park for the afternoon.

Details of Event:

For the last event before our August summer break, the London Naturally Group presents a day out with a canal walk taking in two parks. We meet at Angel Station in the morning which is about five minutes’ walk from Regent’s Canal. We follow the canal for the approximately 3 mile walk to Victoria Park. We’ll then spend some time exploring and photographing the park with its lake, landscapes and many historic features. After lunch (either at the Pavilion Café or bring your own) we’ll head to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (just over a mile away) for some afternoon photography. Stratford Station provides many options for your journey home from here.

If you aren’t able to join us for the whole day you can come for the morning and leave after we reach Victoria Park. If you want to join us for the afternoon, meet at the Pavilion Café in Victoria Park at 2pm. Please let us know if you intend to do this so we can look out for you.

Some of the walk will be on unmade paths which may be muddy (or perhaps the rain will have stopped by then!) Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink to keep you hydrated.
